I'm Ibiso Briggs, the heart and hands behind Biso's Cakes & Confectionery.
I trained as a chemical engineer in Nigeria, where precision, structure, and getting the details exactly right became second nature. But my truest joy was always found in the kitchen — in the smell of puff puff frying, the fold of a perfect samosa, the quiet pride of a cake that makes someone's celebration unforgettable.
When I came to Windsor as an international student, I carried two things with me: a dream, and the bold, vibrant flavours of home. Biso's Cakes & Confectionery is where those worlds meet — my Nigerian roots and my Canadian future, my engineer's discipline and my baker's passion.
I don't just make snacks. I build experiences. Every platter is balanced, every cake is structurally sound and beautiful, every bite is a taste of home for the diaspora and a bold new discovery for Windsor.
